Festival Opening: Border/Lines, 19:30 at Havneterminalen (2nd floor, room with the sea view)

Join us for the Festival Opening! Over the past year, due to the global pandemic, societies as well as individuals have been pushed to rethink their ideas about borders, boundaries, limits and limitations. How did that affect us as humans, as citizens and as artists? How to find community and common points in a world where nationalism and fake news push people apart?

There will be drinks and food. Free of charge, everyone welcome!

We will start the evening with a discussion around the importance of safe space for LGBTQ+ communities. OO will be in conversation with Garmeres, the queer Sámi organization, represented by Ane Margrethe Ugelvik.

We’ll dance to the amazing Sámi DJ collective Article 3 (SÁ), and then to Tromsø’s very own DJ Shabby Chic (NO) starting from 21:00. 18+
